One-of-a-kind 'Diana Krall Edition' Sebring convertible to be donated to charity
Windsor, Ontario - DaimlerChrysler Canada is leveraging its relationship with jazz singer Diana Krall by designing a one-off special edition 2003 Sebring Limited Convertible. The vehicle was designed to support Diana Krall's charitable endeavours for bone marrow research. Prior to its donation, the image vehicle will be featured at the Niagara Food & Wine Classic from September 13-15, and then at the DaimlerChrysler 2003 Fleet Show in Toronto on September 18.
"One very lucky person will not only feel like a superstar driving this vehicle, they will also have the satisfaction of knowing their contribution helped an extremely worthwhile cause," said Pearl Davies, Chrysler and Jeep Brand Manager. "Diana Krall has long been internationally recognized for her distinct personal style and sense of fashion. It seemed only natural to blend some of that personality into our beautifully designed Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible. We've added automotive jewelry to it!"
The Special Edition Diana Krall Sebring Convertible is painted a Bright Silver Metallic and sports a dark blue cloth convertible top. Its interior looks rich and is done in a combination of deep royal blue with satin silver finish. The seats are upholstered in two-tone deep royal blue and silver metallic leather. Built into the dash, is a 6-disc CD changer - thoughtfully designed to accommodate precisely the number of albums Diana Krall has released. The Special Edition Diana Krall Sebring Convertible sparkles with 16" chrome wheels and, as a finishing touch, the star's autograph has been transformed into a distinctive badge that is located on either side of the wheel fenders as well as on the dash.
Diana Krall and music from her latest album "The Look of Love" have been featured prominently in a major Chrysler advertising campaign launched in February.
